An incredible snow band developed over Waukesha County, Wisconsin today around 3:30 pm local time causing zero visibility conditions. What was interesting about the the snow band was its intensity and isolated coverage appearing to be only a mile wide. Outside of the band, light to absolutely no snow was falling. The band continued to move east-southeast into Racine County producing low visibility.
Here are a couple of shots of the snow falling from my residence. The photograph of the radar image displays the small but intense snow band over Central and Southern Waukesha County.
