Jun 30, 2012
The drought of 2012 continues across the southern portion of Wisconsin. Incredibly Madison, Wisconsin is now on pace to experience the driest June ever with over .30 inches for the month. Milwaukee, Wisconsin has been dry with just under an inch of precipitation for the month June.
Northern Illinois, Central and Northern Wisconsin have seen more rainfall so far in 2012, but there has been practically no rain this month along the I-94 corridor from Madison to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It's going to take wet July to bring back the green vegetation across the area or the drought will become stronger and water restrictions will be put in place.
